Rainstorm – Mayan Zodiac -
Rainstorms are typically fun people to be with. They do not ever seem to age in spirit, and they keep curious about new things throughout their lives. Rainstorms are researchers who go on to study one thing after another, and in this way they will assemble a lot of knowledge in a lifetime. They have a great ability to both teach and learn. Yet, it is not always easy for them to synthesize the knowledge that they have gathered from so many sources and commit to a purpose in life.
Forever young, they exist to enjoy the ecstasy of freedom. Their ongoing search for new experiences will lead them into big challenges and emotional storms, and many of them will experience that their entire life has been nothing but one long storm. They do have a sensitivity that will not always make it easy for them to face the storms of life.
To see these difficulties as teachings will help Rainstorms find the greater wholeness they are looking for in life.

I don’t know if my life is a blessing or a curse, considering my focus is scattered.
If you were to ask me as a young child how I envisioned my future, all I could picture was a refurbished bus and wandering the country in it. (yes, “Partridge Family” influence - mind you I was raised on 60’s – 70’s TV)
Of course I would have my collection of animals with me (cats, dog, etc. and a falcon that would follow along and land on my wrist) not practical, I know, but this is out of a mind of a 6 year old.
I always had a soft spot for strays, which leads to a different fantasy of having enough money and land to provide a good home to cats in particular.
(My past life as a priestess in Bastet’s temple is leaking out here)
I have always loved reading, and had been drawn to mythology and ancient tales which still influence me strongly.
I always felt out of place in this modern world,
“ordinary life” never held any appeal to me, some distant memory has always haunted me and I have looked to the stars for revelation. (Translation: I felt I needed to be taken away on a spaceship and find the answers I always been seeking)
As I grew older, I wanted to write – which is what I am doing right now.
As an adult, I have done my share of wandering, not in a refurbished bus, but by automobile. If I do have a talent, it is packing up my life and moving at a drop of a hat. I do long for a home base, but exploring the world is a dream of mine, there is so much to experience and learn.
